Our Philosophy
Environmental Citizens is an Australian environmental action group focused on improving outcomes for the environment by encouraging the chemical industry to meet government and community expectations.
We are a team of environmental citizens with a range of expertise and experience:
- 20+ years of environmental law liaising with a number of government policy departments and regulators
- Environmental protection with direct action organisations
- Supply chain in the chemical industry
- Web design and content development
Our team has seen the best and worst of what happens behind the scenes in the Australian chemical industry. We are motivated to improve the performance of the industry by encouraging all participants to operate to Australian laws, standards and expectations.
The media has made links between some chemical facilities and groups of people that could represent a danger to our safety. We are choosing to remain anonymous for this reason.
